Penny with our finished willow weavings |
On the weekend, I was lucky enough to be involved in a fabulous weaving workshop
in the Southern Highlands, creating a handmade willow bean support/Christmas tree with the talented textile designer/landscape architect Penny Simons. Its was set amongst the magical gardens of her property in Kangaloon on a glorious spring day. We also touched on moon planting
bio dynamic gardening techniques & were served fresh chai tea, homemade cakes and an amazing lunch from Penny's bountiful garden. We kissed the house cow, stroked a chook, met new friends and shared wonderful stories.
Penny offers wonderful workshops in gardening and craft for adults and children. For more information please visit her website
